There has been no requests for changes for two years. If you have a change, you are encouraged send an email to John Russell.

Opened to floor:
Mitch Patterson - During COVID, judges had an option to hang or bucket the bird. This was a provisional clause that expires 12/31/2021. It's the judges responsibility to examine the birds and to determine whether or not they should be reused.

There was a question on wording about blinds being clearly or conspicuously marked. The event committee needs to monitor this.

Jeff Talley - There have been 10 times the normal number of complaints regarding birds being of poor quality, specifically when they're sent out to the field and while in a dog's mouth upon return.

Mark Atwater - Across every venue, the bird quality was poor overall.

Response from John Russell - Judges, marshals, and clubs should all help to make sure the birds are suitable to go out into the field. Judges should also inspect the birds on return.

Mark Menzies - Mark brought brought up that the index of the AKC Rulebook needs attention and revision so that information can be resourced easily and quickly.

Russ Reavis says that the appendix has been amended and it will be published in the next revision of the AKC Rulebook.

Meeting adjourned at 1:30 pm EST.
