Flyer - Straight to the bird.

Middle retired - Swam straight across to the point. Into the back cove. Came out left of middle retired. Ran right of gunners to the tree line. Came back and got his bird.

Left retired - Good line across the lake. Over the base area of the point into the corner. Ran up right of the guns into the trees on the right. Cut back left along the tree line. Handled.

Flyer - Close to the right shore and literally snagged it on the run.

Left retired - Over the far point, turned right for a loop to the right. Then a second before he drove to the bird.

Right retired - Took off wide right of the flyer guns. Stopped and handled across the lake.

Middle retired - Very wide left to the tree line. Came down the tree line all the way to the middle retired.

Left retired - Went deep again. Handled back to the bird.

Flyer - Very nice bird.

Middle retired - Great line to the mark. Got to the area, shook the water from his swim, and picked up the bird.

Left retired - Angled across the pond and point, but drove the area behind and right of guns. Was handled to the bird.
 


9. Handle – FC-AFC Beaver Runs Zig Zag Zeke, "Zeke" BLM, Andrew Curtis

Zeke came to the line at 7:34 am.

Flyer - Came in under the arc. Made a right turn, then a quick turn deep. Back left and out to his bird.

Short retired - He came in just in front of the blind. Looped to the right over to the bird.

Right retired - Went right of the tree line and up into the brush. He was handled back to the bird.

84. Handle – FC-AFC Straight To The Heart-Dagger, "Dagger" BLM, Johnny Armstrong

Dagger came to the line at 11:15 am.

Flyer - He got the bird.

Middle retired - Angled through the water all the way down to the bird. Very nice line.

Left retired - Took a nearly identical line, he was handled in the second pond.



81. Handle – FC-AFC 3R'S Mr T Smoken Joe, "Smokie" BLM, Ty Rorem

Smokie came to the line at 10:45 am.

Flyer - Good mark.

Left retired - Across the water, then pulled up left of holding blind. Turned left at tree line for a quick pass. Then back right and to the bird.

Middle retired - Headed across ponds at nice angle, but ended up in direction of left retired guns and was handled.



55. Handle – FC-AFC Kirkwood's Ace Of A Higher Grade, "Deacon" BLM, Casey Adams

Deacon came to the line at 8:59 am.

Flyer - A loop and a scoop. Nice!

Left retired - Into the first pond and over the levee. Into second pond on a good line to the bird. Came out, handled and drove the hill and got it.

Middle retired - Angled the hill going out. Held his line and came in close to the bird. One loop and got it.



53. Handle – FC Meadow Woods Whispering Willow, "Willow" YLF, Danny Farmer

Willow came to the line at 8:44 am.

Flyer - Under the arc, a quick right and she got the bird.

Left retired - Good line, through both ponds, and to the fall area to dig and get her bird.

Middle retired - She took the corner of the first pond and swam the length in the next pond. Exited deep left and came back to water where she was handled.

60. Rerun/Handle – Indigo Rev It Up At Shoreline, "Rex" BLM, Edward Forry

Rex made a return from yesterday afternoon and came to the line at 9:40 am.

Left flyer - Rex made a quick recovery of his bird. 

Right flyer - He made a nice line up through the slot, then broke left for a couple of loops. Into the fall area for the bird.

Short retired - He came in wide left and from behind the gunners. He turned right into the fall area for the bird.

Long retired - He punched up wide left, moved deep, and was handled. He came back into view and worked his way behind the gun station. He expanded his hunt, then went back to the fall and his bird.




69. Handle – Rerun – FC Sweetie's Little Dash-A-Rue QA2, "Dash" BLF, Alex Drent

Dash came to the line at 9:12 am.

Left flyer - Dash went to the fall area for a tight hunt and got her bird.

Right flyer - She came in on the right and quickly found her bird.

Long retired - She made a line out to the left of the short retired guns, then drove to the right of the long retired guns. She circled behind and out into the field. She hunted and got it.

Short retired - She went past on the left. Quick whistles brought her back to her mark.



72. Handle – FC Carl With A K, "Karl" BLM, Rick Stawski

Karl came to the line at 8:44 am.

Left flyer - Nice bird.

Short retired - Karl's line took him to the backside of the gunners.

Long retired - It started to rain, and Karl went wide left. He had to be handled back to the bird.

Right flyer - He came in front of the guns and went directly to the bird.

71. Handle – C Kid's Aslan, "Prophet" BLM, Amie Henninger

Left flyer - Prophet went straight to the fall area for a quick retrieve.

Right flyer - He made a good line just right of the short retired guns but kept going and made quick work of getting the flyer.

Short retired - He came in right, quickly turned back left, and moved downhill to this bird.

Long retired - Went on a line wide right and deep of the blind and away from the bird. He had to be handled across the field and back to the bird.

66. Handle – FC-AFC Wood River's Perfect Pass, "Lonzo" BLM, John Henninger

Lonzo came to the line at 8:03 am.

Left flyer - Lonzo came in for a short turn in front of the guns, then hunted deep both up and down the hill. He worked back up and in to his bird.

Right flyer - He made a good line for the short retired but cut right and went up behind the flyer guns. He made a loop, then went out to the fall area for the bird.

Short retired - Excellent mark.

Long retired - His line took him right of the trees with the hay bale. He started a hunt just past the trees and had to be handled to his bird.

65. Handle – FC Freeridin Rikki Tikki Tavi, "Tavi" BLF, Kenny Trott

Tavi came to the line at 7:54 am.

Left flyer - Good recovery of her hen.

Short retired - Tavi arrived just under the arc of the fall area. She had a good, controlled hunt and located the bird.

Long retired - She made a good initial line but broke right near the trees where the retired guns were. she went wide right along the top of the ridgeline. Tavi was handled to the bird.

Right flyer - Great line to the area, and she got her duck.

56. Handle – FC-AFC BD North Shore's Instant Rain Gear QA2, "Poncho" BLM, Malcolm Haith

Left flyer - Straight to the fall area, and then Poncho got this bird.

Right flyer - He drove out to the area in front of the guns and his bird.

Short retired - Poncho drove out to the correct side. Went under the arc for a quick turn, and then quickly back for his bird.

Long retired - He had a good initial line but ended up just right of the tree with the short retired gun. He was handled and then worked it out.

55. Handle – FC-AFC Kirkwood's Ace Of A Higher Grade, "Deacon" BLM, Casey Adams

Deacon came to the line at 11:18 am.

Left flyer - Deacon stepped on it!

Short retired - A little hang up in the draw before the gun stations. He made a couple of passes and then moved to the bird.

Right flyer - Very good mark.

Long retired - Deacon came into the area wide left and drove deep. Casey put a quick handle on Deacon to put him on the bird.
 

 

43. Rerun/Handle – AFC Tucquan's Beauty Behind The Madness, "Bella" BLF, Hunter Street

Bella came to the line at 10:43 am.

Left flyer - Bella worked the area in front of the guns, then went uphill to a long bird. Nice.

Short retired - She cut through the trees into the field with the bird. She hunted just right of the fall area, but quickly turned downhill to her bird

Right flyer - Went wide going out but scooped it up quickly.

Long retired - Went deep then started running right. Hunter worked hard and got her back over to the bird.

47. Handle – FC-AFC Whitewater Shaq N Bams Bouncin Pita MH, "Bounce" BLF, Cindie Little

Bounce came to the line at 9:51 am.

Left flyer - Bounce had a little hunt but located her bird.

Right flyer - She made a tight hunt in the area of the fall and got her bird.

Long retired - She entered the field wide left. Cindie handled Bounce to the bird.

Short retired - She was out of sight for an extended period but came back with her bird.







46. Handle – FC Browns Lake Retro Dash For Stardom, "Cooper" BLM, Greg Bartlett

Left flyer - Cooper went out to the area in front of the guns and scooped it up in one tight turn.

Right flyer - He went through the area in front of the short retired guns, then looped behind the flyer guns and out to the bird.

Long retired - Angled the field to the right of the trees with the hay bale. Then, straight to the fall area for his bird.

Short retired - He started to drive deep of the bird. A quick whistle brought him back.
